International Izmir Festival

Izmir Festival, organized every year by Izmir Foundation for Culture and Art, is held in places with thousands of years of cultural heritage of the city and in the city center. Besides artists around the world such as Ray Charles, Paco de Lucia, John Baez, Tanita Tikaram, Julio Iglesias, Jethro Tull, Chris de Burgh, Sting, Chick Korea, Brayn Adams, Jan Garbarek, Elton John, Kiri Te Kanawa, Nigel Kennedy, and James Brown,many famous domestic and foreign communities, concerts, ballet and theatrical performances with rock and classical music concerts have been organized so far, within the scope of the festival. The Festival continues every year with famous artists and groups, and thousands of local and foreign art lovers meet at this festival.

Izmir European Jazz Festival

It is held every year in the first half of March. It brings together jazz lovers in Izmir with the participation of local and foreign jazz communities and contributes decisively to the cultural richness of our city.
