The Algaze Synagogue is located at no 737 on 927 Street, on its north there is Synora Giveret Synagogue and on its southwest Shalom Synagogue. Algaze Synagogue was built in 1724 by Algazi family. Today the structure is single storeyed. The plan was changed in the 20th century due to the Italian influence, but the Mehizah section where women worshiped was abolished. Rumor has it that a young Rabbi blinked at a lady and Mehizah was demolished by the Rabbi. The courtyard walls of the synagogue facing street no 927 are massive and high. The floor and ceiling are wooden and the roof of the structure is wooden construction. Today, the tevya is located under four columns dividing the ceiling into nine pieces. Located on the raised platform with four steps, tevya is covered with green ornamented prayer rug.
