It is the Catholic Cathedral located at Şehit Nevres Boulevard no 29 in Alsancak district. The church, whose construction began in 1862, was opened in 1874. The main altar is the gift of Pope Pion the 9th. It is known that Sultan Abdulaziz gave a large amount of gold to be used in the construction of this church in 1863. It is still used by both Protestant, Catholic and American communities. It is close to the Turkish American Association.
