WHEN YOU COME TO IZMIR , DONT LEAVE....

· Without visiting the Kadifekale, which was built upon the dream of Alexander the Great, and watching the Izmir Bay below,

· Without seeing the Clock Tower, which has become the symbol of Izmir in Konak Square,

· Without shopping in the historical Kemeraltı Bazaar where you can find traditional Turkish handicrafts, spices, leather products, clothes, jewelery, carpets and rugs for all tastes and budgets,

· Without trying one of the local restaurants in Kemeraltı that offer affordable and delicious food,

· Without drinking Turkish coffee cooked in tea or cup served in small tulip-shaped cups in one of the tea quarries in and around Kızlarağası Caravanserai in Kemeraltı,

· Without watching the sunset at the Historical Elevator in Karataş district ,

· Without sitting in one of the cafes or restaurants along Kordon coastline and feeling the breeze from the sea and enjoying your meal with the sunset .

· Without feeding the seagulls with 'crisp' pieces on the ferry from Konak or Alsancak Pier to Karsiyaka,

· Without visiting the ancient city of Agora, known as one of the biggest bazaars in the world,

· Without visiting the Archeology and Ethnography Museum in Konak,

· Without visiting the History and Art Museum in Kültürpark where you can see the unique findings of the past,

· Without seeing the ruins of the ancient city of Smyrna founded in Bayraklı district of İzmir in the second half of BC 3000,

· Without visiting St. Polycarp, the oldest church with frescoes worth seeing,

· Without visiting Hisar Mosque, which is one of the oldest and largest mosques in Izmir, right next to Kızlarağası Caravanserai,

· Without eating Izmir's famous pastry 'boyoz' and boiled eggs with a cup of tea in one of the passports in Pasaport,

· Not to forget that Izmir, the ancient city of Smyrna, is one of the seven churches mentioned in the Bible,

· Without tasting the iced almond that you can find at street vendors in Kordon

· Without trying Izmir's famous doughwhich is called ''lokma'' in the form of small dough pieces that are fried and dipped in syrup made using flour, sugar and yeast,

· Without feeding pigeons around the Clock Tower by taking bird feed from vendors in Konak Square…
